Born in Overland Park, Kansas and raised in Orange County, California, I started my photography journey with a Fisher Price camera and a sippy cup. A few milestones along my path include purchasing my first Nikon shortly after my freshman year of High School, starting my photography business two years later, and finishing my Studio Arts Minor with a concentration in Photography.
With The One You Love has brought me so much joy over the years because I have the honor of capturing special moments for clients who become life-long friends. From traveling with my passion of photography, I have developed a greater appreciation for other cultures and love sharing it with others through my lens.
When I am not behind the camera, you can catch me camping with my husband, trying new gluten free food recipes, gardening in my greenhouse, getting drinks with friends, attempting to visit all of the national parks in the USA, or restoring our victorian farmhouse in Fort Worth.
For most weddings and elopements, my incredible husband, Tyler, is my second shooter.
We have been together for 6+ years and are definitely an adventurous duo. While we call Fort Worth, Texas our home, we lived part time out of our Bigfoot Camper for 5 years. We are avid travelers and are always up for a local event or an international adventure.
If you are dreaming of having an elopement in the mountains or along the coast, we would love to help you curate this experience.
Documenting this experience is all about artfully capturing you with the ones you love or things you love doing. During our experience together from your first inquiry note to the finished curated gallery, I want you to feel heard, loved, and valued for who you are.
Each couple, family, and brand is unique in its own way, which makes each set of images wonderfully and beautifully different. Part of our experience as humans is learning more about ourselves and what makes us - US.
I hope to tell your story of love and life through my lens by getting to know you through a thoughtful questionnaire and/or FaceTime or phone call. Once I know more about you, I will be able to carefully construct a comfortable environment for us to make dreamy photographs come to life.
