What Should I Wear to my Maternity Photoshoot?

Each photographer has their own style and words of advice for clients when selecting outfits. My personal philosophy is that solid neutral colors are timeless when it comes to capturing images. I will never shy away from a fun pattern or bold colors for a specific shoot - but for client's without a firm vision, I recommend soft, solid, clothing pieces.

Here is a list of clothing items that I recommend for Maternity photoshoot:

• DENIM - Denim Anything! I love Denim Jeans, Denim Jackets, Denim Overalls, Denim Shorts, Denim Dresses! I love it all!

• White Linen Fabric - I love the look of simple white fabric on skin. I think that it pairs really easy with denim and bras.

• Calvin Klein Bra/Undergarments - I love the look of the cotton bras/underwear with denim. I think it is comfy, simple, and timeless.

• Cotton Fitted Dresses - Want to show off your bump? These dresses are super fun to show your shape.

• Sweaters - I love a comfy candid vibe. I think that large chunky knit sweaters in neutral colors create great texture for maternity images. I think it pairs really nice with denim too!

• Tights - feeling like showing a bit more skin? Lace tights with no bra are super fun!

• Lace - I love lace. Lace is delicate and soft and creates great texture.
