It was a rather warm Valentine's Day weekend for Madison, Wisconsin - perhaps, it was due to the amount of love in the air that surrounded Sammy and Alec as they embark on this next chapter in life as parents. 

The Friday before Valentine's Day was a winter wonderland in Madison, but as more family and friends appeared in town to celebrate Sammy & Alec - the weather continued to shift towards what feels like an early Spring.

It was such a joy to know Sammy and Alec first as a young couple and then as future parents. Their love for one another has only grown over the past 5+ years and seeing them embrace one another as they prepare to bring life into this world is such a privilege to witness.

Sammy & Alec have made their cozy house into a home and I loved having the opportunity to capture them in the space that they have curated and created together. I cannot wait to see them take many family pictures in their backyard space for years to come as well as have many family breakfasts in their abundantly sunny and warm kitchen space.
